  1. Windows 10 volume mixer changes everytime I start the Computer

    Hi,

I have a problem with my computer sounds. Everytime I start the computer, general sound stays 40(as always), system sounds drop to 0, discord for example drops to half the general, any game for example to 75% of general.

If I change all volumes to 100 and restart the computer, the volume mixer has the levels as explained above.

    Things I've already tried:

    - The 'Do nothing' thing.

    - The 'Disable all enhancements' thing.

I have no dolby nor realtek in the computer to mess around.

I have reading like 30+ pages and nothing fixed my problem. If anyone has stumbled with the same problem I would like to know a solution.

    Thanks

  2. volume mixer in taskbar in WIndows 10

    Hi Caroline,

The requirement of pinning Volume mixer to the taskbar is currently not available in Windows 10. However, you can view Volume mixer from the volume control icon located in the system tray.

Before we assist further, I would like to ask you a few questions:

    • Are you not able to see volume icon or the volume mixer on the computer?

    • If volume icon, have you enabled the option to show in the system tray?

If you want to view Volume mixer on the PC and have enabled volume icon on the system tray, follow the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

    • Right click on the volume icon and select
      Open Volume Mixer
      from the context menu.

    • Check if the window is accessible on the computer.

Note: The option to pin Volume mixer to the taskbar is not currently available on the computer.

Can't change volume in volume mixer permanently

I have tried to change volume for specific programs in volume mixer multiple time, but everytime i restart my computer, they become 100% again (relatively to master volume)
For example, i want to lower my system volume

    After restarting, it will become

Is there anyway to fix this problem? (It happens to all programs not just system volume).
