  1. In App Purchases are NOT requiring a password - and my settings are correct to require one

Hi there! My Microsoft store settings are properly set that a password is required for purchases radio button OFF. However, my daughter who loves to get onto Mommy's laptop is buying items from the Microsoft store through Roblox app without being required to enter the password. She spent $50 today she is only 6, value of money is just starting to form.

She now has her own laptop and user profile that is totally locked down distance learning drove us to buy the kids laptops, but my laptop is bigger and touch screen so she is still going to want to go onto mine. How can I fix this?

    Thank you!

    :)

  2. Enable Require password on Wake up Windows 10

To further troubleshoot the issue, we suggest disabling and
    enabling
the Require a password on wakeup settings on your power plan
    by following the steps below:

    • Open the Advanced power settings for your current chosen
      power plan
      .
    • Click on the Change settings that are currently unavailable link.
    • Set the Require a password on wakeup settings to Yes
or No, and click on OK.

Once done with the steps, let us know how it goes.

  3. Which app requirements are the correct ones - the ones in the store or on the website?

Sometimes the requirements list for an app is different on windowsphone.com than when I look up the app via the store app on my phone.

Which is the correct list of requirements?

  4. In App Purchases are NOT requiring a password - and my settings are correct to require one

Require password to buy apps in marketplace?

There is no lock in place when purchasing apps in the marketplace.

Here's a couple of things you could do to prevent easy access to the marketplace:

Set the phone's lock screen up to require a password before any aspect of windows phone can be accessed

Remove (delete) the Marketplace tile from the home screen. Then you still get to the marketplace by going to the applications list.
