Windows 10: Unable to install programs due to VCRUNTIME140.dll and MSVCP140.dll missing?

Hi, having issues with missing dll files when trying to install Origin client on windows 10. Have tried reinstalling visuall c++ redistributable, but no luck. Does anyone know a fix for this?

MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll is missing!

Hello, I've been having quite the issue since I re-installed windows on my pc, I own a rust server, and there is a program called "Rust Admin", but to open that it says I don't have MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll, even though I installed Visual C++ Redistributable
for Visual Studio 2015. If I go to the System32 folder, I have MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll in there, so that's why I was confused, I tried re-installing the program, repairing it and even going into cmd and doing "sfc /scannow", which didn't help. I've
scanned for malware and can't find any so I'm confused as to why it's not working. Even if I copy the 2 files to the Rust Admin folder, it says "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)."

I hope we can get this problem resolved, thank you.

MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll are missing

Hi,

So I turned on my PC and it said there was a windows update and it would download automatically. It eventually turned to a screen saying "we couldn't complete the updates. Undoing changes". I tried restarting and it just stayed in that loop. I looked up
how to fix it and tried everything. Eventually I just chose to reset my PC and I chose the " Keep my files" option. This fixed that problem and let me get to my home screen. Now when I try to open a game it gives me two errors. One that I'm missing MSVCP140.dll
and the other saying I'm missing VCRUNTIME140.dll. I already tried downloading VCRUNTIME140.dll and copying it into the system 32 file but that didn't work. Please help.

Thanks so much for the information. I did perform the installation following your link but, unfortunately, this did not change anything. The program still will not open and keeps asking for the VCRUNTIME140.dll and MSVCP140.dll files. I will look for
these files on the Microsoft page and install them if I find them.

If you have any other suggestions, please let me know.
