Windows 10: color on news clips and videos

when watching a news clip or video the colors seem to be fading out people appear grayish and colors are off how can I fix this

Thanks for the answer.
First I opened the address in your answer, updated Chrome, then checked those video clips separatly in a player - all are ok.
Then I tried to call the videos from the index list opened in Chrome, some still refused to play.
Opened the index list in Edge - all of them played. Then opened the index list with the original internet explorer - got an error message for each video - file is corrupt.
Cunclusion - I will open the index lists in Edge, but to make the indexes best is with Chrome.

Video clip color quality

Thanks for the advice. Thank Heaven I worked it out! I went into Calibrate Display Color and increased the brightness setting thing. The clips are now brighter. Yay!

 

Dowloading video clips when using Edge

Thanks for your suggestions but there is nothing in the links that answers my question.

The situation is this:

say, on a site BBC News, they have some video clips of news items. In Explorer you hover the mouse over the thumbnail of the video clip and right click. A number of options appear and the 4th one down is Save Target As.

When you select this option, a window opens to allow you to browse and determine where you want to save the item, in this example, the video clip.

With the Edge, a right click on the video clip the choices are:

Open a new Tab

Open a new window

Copy link

Save picture

Share picture

Copy picture (these three not relevant to saving a video clip which is by definition not a picture

Select all

Copy

Inspect element

None of these have anything to do with saving a clip. So, has Microsoft some other option/pathway
