Windows 10: printer prints documents on all wi-fi connect devices but will not print test page from...

This Dell 8000 is hard wired to the router and so is the HP 5745 printer. The Dell 8000 PC cannot print a test page or any documents. Another PC and an iphone connected via WiFi to the router are both able to print document and test pages. All devices have printed without problem to the HP5745 in the past - this behavior is about 3 days old. Printer troubleshooter thinks all is well.

What gives?

Error - Printing on Network printer

We have 4 printers on our Windows print server. The server was migrated from win2k3 to 2k8 on friday. 3/4 printers are working great, the other is having issues. When trying to print a test page to it, it gets a job status of Error - Printing.

When sending a small word document to it, it sends it to the printer, the queue is empty but nothing prints. If I goto the printer itself, it doesnt show any errors and I can print things such as information sheets and diagnostic files just fine.

All four printers are the same model, all 4 have a static IP. I can ping the printer successfully. I've tried printing from both an XP machine and the print server itself. I tried removing and adding the printer on the print server. And lastly, uunplugged the printer for 30 seconds, plugged it back in.

Any ideas?

 

Printer Question

Alright so I have a Canon mp495 printer. The printer supports Wi-Fi printing. A while back I setup the printer and it has been connected to the network. The light for Wi-Fi is lit up and when I go to the network and click under my name it is listed there. However when my roommate tried to print something via wireless printing nothing happens. He can find it (as far as I know) but when he goes to print it just says connecting and then gets some sort of error. Ideas as to what is wrong?

There is. Unfortunately the status doesnt showing anything. But I didnt know about this page. I tried printing a document from this page and it gave me a bit more of an error. Print service not responding.
