Windows 10: I am cancelling my Office 365 account. I want all my files on my desktop, not in OneDrive.

I keep getting red X's because my cloud account is full but I cannot seem to divert my files from saving to the cloud. I tried opening a new file but Word and Excel would not accept it C:\ThisPC\Desktop\Documents\Documents\newfolder. What can I do to ensure that my files are on my computer not in the cloud?

Move files from Onedrive account to Office 365 account

Background

1. I have a Onedrive account linked to my Microsoft account that I use
   to back-up my personal files.
   
2. I now have separately been granted an Office 365 account, which comes
   with unlimited storage.
   

Issue

As I am paying a fee (albeit small) to extend the size of the
Onedrive capacity linked to my Microsoft account, I am keen to move
some files between the two systems. The files I am looking to move
exist only online.

A number of tools offer functionality to handle files between cloud accounts, ie

• MultCloud
  
• Rainbow drive (Microsoft Store)
  

Howvever both these options do not recognise attempts to connect to the Office 365 Account (they work with Microsoft Accounts only).

Question

Is there a way to move the files without a two-stage download (to pc), then upload (to Office 365)?

 

Setup Microsoft Office 365 on Windows 8.1 using Lumia 635

The phone already has Office Mobile and email. If you are referring to Office 365 it will not install on the phone. In phone Office you see 'places' and Office 365 is listed. This is for business users with a business 365 account. This is the only account
type that can be added there.

You can share OneDrive files between the phone and a laptop/desktop that is using Office 365. Setup your 635 with the same Microsoft account that you have for Office 365. This way the phone and the laptop/desktop will share the same OneDrive and both will
receive the same emails and have the same contacts and calendar.

 

Cortana & Office 365 Integration

We are trying to integrate Cortana with our Office 365 subscription, but it never works. Here are the steps we have done:

• Turned on Cortona in the Office 365 Admin portal
• We are using Windows 10 1703 – connected Office 365 service to Cortana

Did the same on windows 10 mobile with no luck, Cortana says its connected to Office 365, but sees no data and we are getting zero errors

We went rough office 365 support first and tried all fo their suggestions, they kicked us over to Windows support which is currently closed.

We are on v1703 with all updates in place, it does not work on Windows 10 desktop or mobile

any ideas? I can give you all steps 365 support had us run through if that will be helpful
