I've been using a freeware utility called SendToToys, version 2.72 at :: gabrieleponti.com ::. Thought I'd recommend it because you can add or delete items to the SendTo menu fairly easily. He has a 32-bit & 64-bit installer. The only thing I noticed is that if you remove an item, it sends it to the recycle bin. I created a folder called "Deleted Items" in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo menu & keep removed items in that folder in case you change your mind.

You can just click his "Open folder..." link & drag your item to the Deleted Items folder to remove it from the SendTo menu, but recover it easily.

Context Menu changes I want to make - 1903

What are you trying to to with such a URL? Could you give an example of how you want it to work, other than simply opening a browser at that URL- which would seem a somewhat odd thing to do via a Windows context menu.

Sendtotoys is dated 2012. No guarantees it will be fully compatible...

Context Menu changes I want to make - 1903

Many thanks to all of you. I've tried varying combinations of your suggestions and have almost everything I don't want off of the context menu. But I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out how to add urls either to the context menu or, ideally, to the SentTo submenu. I've been able to put urls inside shortcut folders but it's clumsy and not sure it works reliably.

It seems that the more we rely on applications that are not on our machines, the more we need a conceptually different kind of SendTo menu. Can anyone help me to use a url, or really several different ones, within the context menu? Can it be done? I tried for many hours SendToToys :)

I did try SendToToys and it showed great promise. However, my experience is that the console doesn't stay around and you can't edit or add anything later without uninstalling/reinstalling the program and beginning from scratch. I'm running Windows 1903 which may be the problem.
