    Error 0x8007003b: An unexpected network error occurred. receive when connecting to company VPN


    I receive An error occurred while reconnecting T: to" \\ network drive" Microsoft Windows Network: The local device name is already in use.

    This connection has not been restored. When trying to connect to my work VPN from home on my Windows 10 laptop over FIOS ISP. This happens as soon as I get connected and click on a network drive. Shortly thereafter I lose my connection to the internet.


    I also receive "Error 0x8007003B: An unexpected network error occurred. " when attempting to connect to my work VPN to download a large file from my windows 10 laptop.


    I have replaced my router with a new one to eliminate it as the cause.

    How do I resolve this error?

    Windows 10 Error 0x8007003B "An unexpected network error occurred"

    From a Surface Pro laptop running Windows 10 the system doesn't respond when trying to create a new folder or rename a folder. The error message is Error 0x8007003B "An unexpected network error occurred". I believe that Microsoft is supposed to release
    a software fix for this problem. Is there any ECD for release of the software fix.
