  1. Any way to stop "Radeon Software: Host Application" from automatically starting?

It's a new program with a recent driver update, so I thought I needed it running. But looking at task manager, it hogs up 13-14% of my CPU, 2-3% of my RAM and about 10% of my HDD. Force shutting it down seems to do nothing but increase game FPS because of all that freed up usage.

But, I'm lazy and I don't want to have to enter task manager every time I start my computer to close it down and I can't seem to find it in the autostart tab. Any way to solve this?

In the worst case I'll just try to revert the drivers, but I'd rather not as the newest update seemed to help a little bit as well. Not that it's noticeable but it's a principle thing to have 2-3 more FPS in various games.

    Vista Automatic Updating Error

    Resolution Suggestion:

    # To resolve this problem, make sure that BITS and the Automatic Updates service are started..

A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

    1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

    2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

    3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

    4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

    6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

    7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.
