    Intel Display Audio


    I have a new Lenovo T27p-10 monitor. No sound. I updated the Intel UHD Graphics driver, but events reports:

    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_5917&SUBSYS_225D17AA&REV_07\3&11583659&1&10 requires further installation. I updated the Intel Display Audio driver, but events reports: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8086&DEV_280B&SUBSYS_80860101&REV_1000\4&c32736d&0&0201 requires further installation. I don't know if these problems relate to the sound problem or not. Any suggestions?

    Since you uninstalled the Intel Display audio and you no longer have audio, that suggests you are using HDMI (??) If this is the case then the Realtek is not being used and not causing your problem.

    First step as mentioned is to reinstall the Intel Display Audio.

    Where Can I Download 'Intel(R) Display-Audio' Drivers?

    The Intel(R) Display-Audio' drivers are installed as part of your Intel HD Graphics card device drivers when you install those . . .

    Open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

    Expand the Display Adapters section

    What model of Intel HD Graphics is listed there?

    Intel Display Audio

    Missing Intel Display Audio after 1809 upgrade

    I used the registry fix in Step 4 to disable Windows driver updates and after installing 24.20.100.6344 Windows still downloads old 2016 driver. I guess I would need to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro to fix this?

    I need to install larger SSD anyway and will do a fresh install to hopefully fix the Intel Display Audio.
