Windows 10: Permanent Deletion of Recycle Bin Contents

I have a Bee-link PC running Windows 10, with a SSD


Before donating it to someone I would like to permanently erase the Recycle Bin contents if that is possible.

I understand that having an SSD it presents difficulties -- could anyone advise me of what software might be available to achieve my goal ? I am not very Tech savvy by the way !

To prevent your files from being deleted from the Recycle Bin, we suggest increasing the maximum file size your Recycle Bin can keep by following the steps below:

• Right click on the Recycle Bin icon.
• Under the Settings for selected location, select Custom size.
• Fill up the box for your allotted maximum file size for your Recycle Bin.

Items will not go to the recycle bin in WIndows 10, all "Permanently" delete

I have followed your advice but still face the same problem. Items deleted on my computer is getting permanently deleted instead of going to the recycle bin. Please help.

Permanently delete confirmation pops up even though disabled in Recycle Bin properties

To better assist you regarding your concern, we would like to ask some questions:

• Are you referring to deleting the file inside the recycle bin?
• Are you referring to deleting the file outside the recycle bin using
  SHIFT key + Delete?

Deleting files inside the recycle bin always asks for a confirmation prompt. It is the normal behavior of the recycle bin. And if you are trying to delete the files outside the recycle bin using using
SHIFT key + Delete it will also ask for a confirmation prompt because the files you are trying to delete will be permanently deleted and will no longer be stored in your recycle bin.
