  1. Fully disable track pad gestures??!?!?

I am hoping someone may be able to help me. I am at my wits end with this issue. I recently purchased an Onn 11.6in Windows tablet. It is working pretty decently except for one major annoyance. I cannot get the gestures to stop on the track pad. Unfortunately the track pad is seen as an HID compliant mouse in device manager so no track pad options come up in any settings. I have done a lot of googling and I have tried disabling edge swipes using regedit and the group policy editor. But that does nothing. I have even gone as far as trying an AHK script that is supposed to override the gestures to no avail. Has anyone else had issues such as this? Can anyone help?

  2. issues with touch pad gestures with a touchscreen laptop

    Thanks for the response.

I have tried the steps you suggested. It showed no issues, except to restart my PC. At the point when I performed these steps, I didn't have the issue that I reported - namely, not being able to use touch-pad gestures. Maybe I should try this when the touch-pad
    gestures stop working.

  3. Is there a way to disable the track pad?

My computer has a track pad pad. I use mousekeys and a computer mouse, and I never use the track pad. Is gets bumped frequently, and I want to just turn it off.

Is there any way to completely disable the track pad?

    Disabling Windows 10 Touchpad Gestures/Swipes

    Hello Neil,

Thank you for posting your concern in Microsoft Community and welcome to the Windows 10 Family.

From the description provided, I understand that you want to disable the track pad gestures in Windows.

Please be informed that this feature to interact with Windows is an inbuilt feature and depends on the brand and model of touchpad. So, it is not possible to disable the gesture feature of the touchpad you are referring to.

However, I suggest you to post your valuable feedback about Windows 10 in feedback app. So, that it will be helpful for the developers to integrate the changes suggested by you.

Open start menu, type Feedback app in search bar and click on feedback app to open it. Post your suggestions in feedback app.

    Hope it helps.

    Thank you.
