Windows 10: Forza Horizon 3 crashes on Playground games portion of loading screen

Hi there, I recently got Forza Horizon 3 and every single time i launch it, the game will launch, but then crashes and closes out as soon as the loading screen that has the revving speedometer on it, and when the playground games square blinks, then it crashes. I have updated my GPU drivers to the latest from Nvidia I have the Geforce 1070, and my Windows 10 version is 1909. So i don't understand why this is happening. Any help on this would be appreciated because right now, it seems like i wasted my money.

Forza horizon 4 crashing on loading screen

Hello, i have been having issues with forza horizon 4, when i try to launch the game, it goes to the loading screen, i get passed the playground games logo, but my game crashes on microsoft studios, no error, no anything

i have tryed a lot of solutions, reinstalling windows, reinstalling GPU drivers, reinstalling the whole game

Reseting the Forza Horizon 4 in settings, disabling development mode which i've seen on some forum, trying disabling explorer but no success. Other games work fine on microsoft store like State of Decay and Sea of Thieves, i only have issue with Forza Horizon

I have an i5 4460, GTX 960, 8gb DDR3 Ram, and my friend has lower specs and he can at least run the game, while my crashes for some unkown reason

 

Forza Horizon 3 Crashing

Hi all,

Problem: When starting up Forza Horizon 3 it plays partially through the Playground Games intro and when it starts scoping into their emblem the game immediately closes thereafter.

I have tried various steps to fix this and have found out that it is because of my Avast security. I would need to uninstall Avast in order to play the game of which I do not want to. I am sure the company who made this game has a list of things
to fix. Other than notifying the problem I am just wondering the average time it takes for this company to roll out a new update to fix things (whether it's this problem or others doesn't matter just an overall question)?

temporary solution!!!

For everyone who's having a crash at the launch of the game, my games crashes everytime! So tried to uninstall one of the DLC's, I have the Hotweels DLC. So I uninstalled that. Launched the game and it works!

So:

-Forza Horizon 3

-Hotweels DLC

-Blizzard Mountain DLC

1. Uninstall one of the DLC's (I'd suggest hotweels since it's the smallest dlc)

1.2 just to be sure reset in App & Features

2. Click play Forza from the start menu (your game should work by this step!)

3. Install hotweels DLC again.

Your game should work! this worked for me.
