  1. Constant BSODs

    Hello,

I was hoping someone could help me with some issues that started around a week and a half ago that keep causing my computer to crash. I have tried a few things such as sfc scans, DSIM commands, and even DSKCHK commands to no avail. As a last ditch effort to fix the issues I did a clean install of windows 10. Unfortunately the issues have persisted and am not sure what to do next. I have checked the event viewer but unfortunately half the time the errors fail to be logged aside from the BSOD saying something along the lines of Critical process failed. One recent error though that I thought might help shed some light was a 0xc000021a error. Sadly as with all the previous searches for fixes or information on the errors this one also led me to pages that simply said something along the lines of 'this is a common issue when upgrading to windows 10'. If it helps here are some of the errors that were logged:

The IO operation at logical block address 0x63a0638 for Disk 0 PDO name: \Device\0000002c failed due to a hardware error.

The IO operation at logical block address 0x72a3790 for Disk 0 PDO name: \Device\0000002c failed due to a hardware error.

The IO operation at logical block address 0x6379fb0 for Disk 0 PDO name: \Device\0000002c failed due to a hardware error.

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0xc000021a 0xffff9b0367ef40d0, 0xffffffffc0000020, 0xffff9b03691fd9d0, 0x0000000000000000. A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 7717d11b-ae61-461f-99b6-bfa57014be8f.

Here are some of the warnings that seem to precede the errors:

The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Launch permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

    Windows.SecurityCenter.WscDataProtection

    and APPID

The IO operation at logical block address 0x4293830 for Disk 0 PDO name: \Device\0000002c was retried.

A few things more, before the clean install of windows I seemed to be having issues with Cortana and, at some point even had my computer crash because of it. Another thing is currently, despite setting up multiple restore points, I cannot seem to actually use the restore function at all. It simply restarts my computer in an attempt to restore and then fails.

    Thank you for you help,

    Wolfgang

    :)

KernelBase.dll is broken constant BSOD's constant game crashing.

    Hi Darry,

User Profile corruption is one of the possible reasons why you are experiencing constant BSOD's on your computer. You mentioned that you ran the
System File Checker (SFC) tool, but is still getting a stop code. To further troubleshoot the issue, we suggest that you create a new User Profile and check if the issue persists.

To create a user profile, follow these steps:

    • Go to Settings. Click Accounts.
    • Select Family & other people.
    • Select the Add someone else to this PC tab.
    • Name the user as Test.
    • Leave the password field blank.
    • Hit Next.
    • Sign in as Test user.

I have done the steps listed above. They have not helped and I am still getting constant script errors, along with slow loading pages. Are there any other suggestions?
