According to Microsoft, error code 0x8007007B might occur if the KMS client cannot find the KMS SRV resource records in DNS.

I will be glad to help you with the issue you have with the computer. I understand the frustration when things don't work the way it should.

If you get the activation error “0x8007007b” or “0x8007232b” when you try to activate your Windows 8, then probably you use a generic Windows 8 product key during installation and the activation wizard cannot
find a valid KMS (Key Management Server) to activate your copy.
