Windows 10: Microsoft PC game just exits app if I press “space” to start

I just installed Two Point Hospital on my PC through Microsoft store and I currently have it open in front of me. On the screen says “Press Space to Start” but whenever I do, it just exits the application really quick, showing a windowed black box, then returns to the previous full screen of “Press Space to Start.”


No other button works, I can’t exit I’ve tried restarting but the initial problem still persists.


What can I do to fix this?




I press space... and the following screen pops up for a solid 2 seconds before returning to the original game screen.
