    Microsoft surface book 1 touchscreen issues


    I have a surface book 1 and at first I had phantom touch issues but when I installed a newer version of Windows 10 it went away. But when I updated to the latest version of Windows 10 the issue came back. So I reset the device and downloaded all the drivers and now I have a problem where the center portion of the touch screen my hand touches are not recognized. I disabled the touch screen drivers. Uninstalled them and then installed them again to no avail. I tried getting the calibration tool from microsoft but the link does not work or when downloaded the tool does not work. I know this is a driver or firmware issue that maybe calibration would help. Maybe there is something else. Does anybody know how to fix that issue? I have wasted so much time with phantom touches and now that is gone the touch response on center portion of device does not recognize the touch.
