Windows 10: App not listed for camera/microphone permission so cannot make audio/video calls

I have installed desktop versions of Messenger and WhatsApp, but I cannot make audio or video calls as it tells me that no microphone / camera is connected. I try to give permission to these apps to access the mike and camera, but they are not listed, so I cannot. Skype is the only messaging service listed. I have tried to find a solution, including adding ‘EnableFrameServerMode = 0’ to the registry, but nothing works. It means that on my laptop I cannot use any video conferencing tool except Skype. Anyone has a solution to this?

Camera and Microphone Privacy

This issue occurs due to permission issue, driver issue, license for an app is out of sync with the license installed on the computer or if the app is not updated. To give permission to Camera and Microphone app, you may follow
these steps:

• Go to Settings.
• Select Privacy.
• Look for Camera, make sure that “Let apps use my camera” is turned On. You may choose the apps that can use your camera as well.
• Go back to Privacy and select Microphone, make sure that “Let apps use my microphone” is turned On. You may choose the apps that can use your microphone as well.

I cannot make voice calls while in messenger? I have checked privacy to make sure microphone and camera is on.
