Windows 10: Internet speed way too slow although the signal strength is excelent

    I have a Win. 10 Professional pc that accesses Internet via wifi and although the wifi signal seems to be full the internet speed is really slow.

    I have tried to flush the DNS, changed the settings, run the updates, changed the QoS Packet Scheduler to 80%.

    There are some times throughout the day that the speed goes back to normal but its very unstable and doesnt last for long.

    I have 2 windows 10 laptops in the same room connected to wifi and their speed is fine.

    The weirdest thing is that when i am running speedtest, the speed comes up as 110 Mb although at the same time I can barely watch a youtube video.

    I have contacted Microsoft support but didnt provide me with any useful informatio, i have removed updates and re-installed them, run the cmd commands, the drivers are up-to date and the Large Send Offload V2 IPv4 is enabled.

    I even formatted and re-installed Windows but the problems are still there.

    I think its mainly a stability issue as the speed can be fine for 2 hours and then drop, but the thing that annoys me most is that only this particular pc has the problem the first time in the 2 years that i am having that issue so i dont know if it is something in the BIOS, the Hardware or in the updates that are causing approx the last 4-5 weeks now.

    Any ideas?

    Devolo 500 Signal Strength

    I have the following set up.

    Router connected to Dlan 500 duo with Cat5 cable
    Two dlan 500 Wifi: One located on the same floor, (Drawing Room) as the Router and one on the floor below (Xander)

    Using Cockpit the signal strength to Drawing Room is 200 Mbits/s and to Xander 74 Mbits/s.

    Xander has no problems either on computer or Ipad streaming videos or simply connecting to the internet and browsing.

    Drawing Room, Internet is slow and streaming is impossible, the picture freezes but the audio continues.

    Devolo suppport have not been able to suggest why this is happening nor what to do to correct it.
    This problem is relatively new but we have made no changes to our electrical set up in years.

    Finally, if I connect by using my iPhone as a hotspot the problem immediately disappears.

    Can anyone suggest what might be the cause and how to correct it?

    Perfect signal strength still gives ridiculously slow Internet.

    I have tried these solutions and they are useless -

    reset/diagnose this and that (temporary solution until next time, not a fix)

    I will not even try these -

    reset the OS (just won't do that, period)

    disable my antivirus (that may destroy my PC altogether)

    install a third party fix (especially unknown programs I never heard of, I do not test malware for the living)

    call this or that number (I just don't know whom I am calling, and have never seen someone solve a PC related problem over the phone)

    If I understand correctly you have a perfect signal strength but slow internet?

    There are many reasons why this occurs. Reasons could include interference or poorly configured wi-fi adpater.

    What model of wi-fi adpater are you using and what frequency wi-fi are you using 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz?

    What model of wi-fi access point are you using?

    Have you tried updating the wi-fi drivers?
