    Need help with BSOD "DCP Watchdog Violation" on new laptop with fresh install.


    Just opened up my new ASUS Zephyrus laptop after my old laptop just took a crap and was getting everything checked out when I got a BSOD with message "DCP Watchdog Violation". I first encountered this when running UserBenchmark to ensure the components were working as advertised. At this point the BSOD appears when running just about any scan (driver scans, etc.). I tried a windows reset and updated windows and reinstalled Nvidia driver for the 2080. I have downloaded the most up to date intel UHD graphics 630 driver but after installing that it still crashes. On the previous windows intall I tried using the Driver Verifier method but that just sent the laptop into a continuous cycle of blue screens until it went into repair mode. I installed and looked at bluescreenview but don't know exactly what I am looking for.

    Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    I have updated everything I could find or think of, including the graphics card and all the drivers through windows.

    I even reinstalled the system, please help.

    windows 10 freezes-DCP watchdog violation

    Can anyone help me with this?

    My desktop freezes and I get a bluescreen with the message-DCP watchdog violation.
