Windows 10: Why MSoft keeps killing devices by new updates

Windows 10, v.1909 build 18363.657 upgrade killed my Linx1010 tablet's ability to rotate and in process killed on screen keyboard.

That would not be surprise given the reputation of developer's ability to test software builds, if the same did not happen with 2017 and 2018 updates.

On the same question the company killed off LifeCam class of PC camera support and now the camera that was working well with Windows and is still working well with any OS any Unix build and can even be made work on Mac OS is rendered useless. And just as it was needed.

We all know there is a need to progress, but can we call "progress" when a company bullies consumers to buy more and more gadgets that would be useless in just a couple of years.

WHAT Did MSoft Do To My PC on Their Upgrade


I can't even keep a stable session long enough to describe all the MSoft has screwed up on their update. Any suggestions?

 

Most Recent Windows 10 Update Killed Sound


What kind of speakers do you use and meaning it killed your speakers ? Maybe speaker connection is an issue, but most likely something with sound device settings or drivers. What exact steps have you tried. Anyone of filling in system specs here or listing them as it helps us more to help you.

 

Unable to add Device (New Speakers)

To assist you better, I would like to ask some questions:

• What is the make and model of your computer?
• Is the sound device recognized by other applications?
• Are you able to set the audio device as output for audio players?

I suggest you to run the Sound troubleshooter by following the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Type “troubleshooting” in search box and type Enter.
• Click on View All on top left corner.
• Click on Playing sound from the list and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.

Also, suggest you to check if the device is listed in playback devices.

• Type sound in the search box and press Enter.
• Check if the device is listed under Playback tab.
