Windows 10: Slow perfomance of computer

Hi Forum

I have the following laptop

Intel celeron 1.80ghz

ram 4.000 gp

681 gb local disc 254 used, 427 free


The laptop has been slow for a long time but I need it to be quicker now.


On start up the login screen takes a while to come on sometimes around 5 minutes or I have to turn the laptop on and off again.


When I do log in the start up takes a couple of minutes too.


I have tried uninstalling applications and it will not let me do this


I have opened the task manager and it says that my memory is running at 78% all i have open is an internet browser and also sometimes the disc c,d is running at 99-100% even though the local disc has 427gb free

Occasionally it also says that rpsystray has stopped working


Can anyone help?
