Windows 10: Trying to upgrade Memory with Win 10_1909...need help.

I originally purchased Windows 10 ver. 1803 but over time I've updated and now run Win 10 ver. 1909. I'm trying to install 16 GB of RAM on my computer because the 8 GB I'm currently running is beginning to get slow for some of the apps I am running. Would someone, please, tell me what I need to know about doing this? When I tried to do this on my own, the system said "Memory has changed" and then asked for a floppy boot disk. I don't have a floppy boot disk but I do have an ISO image of the Windows 10 ver. 1803 that I originally purchased.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

HP stream wont update windows 10 , not enough memory

To further assist you, we suggest that you run the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool. Refer to the steps provided below:

• On the Start screen, type memory.
• Click Settings and then click the result Diagnose your computer's memory problems.
• Select the option to run the tool.

We also suggest you to temporarily disable the antivirus as it consumes more memory and then try to upgrade.

Trying memory upgrade

I have an old Compaq presario 2500 lappy
specs say max memory 1 gig
have tried 2 different set of 512 x 2 cards
but only recognizes total mem of 512
have tried many configs of cards to determine good or bad
but no matter how it only sees 512 total
any help or suggestions would be appreciated
have gone on the crucial memory site and am using there
recommendations but to no avail.

 

is hardware OK (Win 7) for upgrade to windows 10

I think in one of the other PC with win 7 or win 8.1 I run media creators tools and in some step prompt/found graphics card not supported... for win 10. I didn't found alone reading specs of win 10, but the tool says me... after changed graphics card the tool said all OK and continued OK with upgrade... That I ask to reach this step in this current PC - win 7 - must be all OK for the upgrade? Or must continue to upgrade to show this?
