    Computer turns itself on

    Hi Dustin,

    To address this concern, we suggest that you follow these steps on how to turn off the fast startup:

    • Right-click the Start menu, then select Control Panel.
    • Change the view from Category to Large icons.
    • Select Power Options.
    • Click Choose what the power buttons do.
    • Under Shutdown settings, uncheck the Turn on fast startup box.
    • Click Save changes.

  3. windows store not opening

    Hi Dustin,

    Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

    I understand that you are unable to open Windows Store. We will help you to resolve the issue.

    This issue may arise when some of the Windows components gets corrupted.

    I would suggest you to try running Windows store app troubleshooter and check if it helps.

    Follow the below steps:


    • Type troubleshooting in the
      Search
      area on the taskbar.

    • Click on View all on the left panel of the Troubleshooting Windows.

    • Select Windows store Apps.

    • Follow the on screen instruction.
    If the issue persists, I suggest you to reset the Windows Store and check if it helps.

    • Press Windows key + R.
    • Type wsreset.exe. Press Enter.

    How do I change the User Name given originally???

    I suggest you to follow the below steps how to rename the folder in ‘c’ drive and check if it helps.

    1. Press “Windows+X” and click on “This PC”.

    2. Click on ‘C’ drive and search the user folder “Jeremy P”.

    3. Then select the user “Jeremy P” and right click on it.

    4. Now click on “rename” then change the name to “Dustin”.
