Windows 10: Steam.exe - Bad Image C:\WINDOWS\System32\detoured.dll is either no designed to run on...

Al inicio del dia todo andaba bien, de en un momento me pidió actualizar Windows y fue lo que hice, cundo me empezo a salir aquel error, y no puedo abrir Steam sin que salga el error. Trate de hacer los pasos de Clean Mode y ahi si me permite abrir Steam. Ya estoy desesperado, una solucion?

Xcom series games give me 'bad image' errors on launch using Steam.

XCom2.exe - Bad Image

XComGame.exe - Bad Image

C:\Windows\System32\XAPOFX1_5.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.

Bought and fully updated my laptop a month ago. Used only Device Manager to update drivers.

I have in the past tried verifying game cache, running that steam flush command, re-installed the game.

I think I need someone who knows exactly what's wrong to understand how to resolve this, and for an opinion before I just ask for a refund. I'm scared that if it can't even launch, then something else might go wrong down the line after manually fixing this
and then I can't get a refund for it. Such a joke.

ACCELEROMETER ST EXE - BAD IMAGE

I KEEP GETTING THE POP UP "ACCELEROMETER ST EXE - BAD IMAGE" - with comment "SYSTEM32\MSVCR120.dll not designed for windows . . . . . error status 0xc000012f" How serious is this ?

 

latest update has resulted in lots of .exe bad image pop-ups and i can't open excel either.

If I open excel I get

and excel won't open
