    I have a clean install of windows 10Pro, v1909, build No. 18363.592, downloaded 03/03/2020. Installed without issue. I search for updates and take the available updates :

    Cumulative update KB4551762

    Windows Malicious removal tool KB890830

    Security update for Adobe Flash..KB4537759

    Cumulative update NET framework..KB4534132

    Intel Net -20.70.11.3

    Intel HDC 15.9.4.1041

    Lenovo Monitor 6.13.3.0


    All installed correctly, laptop restarted without issue.


    This is my 3rd install on this hardware today, on the last 2 occasions I installed the optional KB4541335, upon reboot, the machine reported NO Operating system could be found. No log in, no option to uninstall, no recovery point -


    This time I am not installing that Optional KB.

    Good day,

    Having an issue with the KB4541335 update.

    Windows update gives message "we couldn't install this update but you can try again (0x800f0831).

    After several attempts it still does not install.

    I have also tried to download and manually install the .msu file.

    It will give result "did not install the update KB4541335"

    I also noticed the last days I have to validate Windows 10 frequently with the troubleshooter.

    It seems to "unvalidate" my Windows account.

    Pleased to hear how to solve this
