Windows 10: transfering photos from nikon l330 towin10 how to

trying to find instructions for transferring photos from a Nikon l330 cam. to win. 10 . nothing I have found so far seems to work. very frustrating. does anyone including Microsoft know how to do this ?

• Does the computer detect other USB devices?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Method 1: Troubleshoot

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your mouse. Refer these steps:

1. Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

2. Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons

3. Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel

4. Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter

If the issue persist try to install the latest drivers in Compatibility mode

Method 2::Compatibility mode

I would suggest you to install the latest available drivers on manufacturer's website in compatibility mode.

Follow the steps below on how to install driver in compatibility mode:

1. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

5. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.

I have windows 10. I take photos with an I Phone. I have Nikon VU2 photo program also. How can I transfer photo's from the I phone to the Nikon program or to my photo file. Thanks again for the help

All good ideas. None of them work. I have tried to narrow things down a bit. First off, my computer does not see the camera as a USB device. Weird. I think that could be the issue.

The camera is a plug and play camera. No drivers needed.

With that being said, I checked my husbands machine and the properties under the drivers for the camera when plugged in. It says the driver version is Windows 10.0.10240.16431. I can't seem to figure out how to download this. Maybe this will solve my
problem?

If you could point me in that direction, I would appreciate it.
