  1. Automatic Changes to Power Options Depending on Current Running Program

I want to know if there is a functionality for the my Windows 10 desktop to automatically change its current power option depending on what programs are running at a given time. See I would like my computer to do this automatically without me having to change the power option manually.

For example, when I'm doing everyday stuff like emails and using word, or when the pc is idling, the computer uses power savings, but when I start a game - the power option changes to High Performance.

If this functionality doesn't exist on the Microsoft OS, can you direct me to a program which will allow me to do so.

    Thank you

    Mat

    :)

  3. Windows 10 Creators Update - Sleep in no longer an option, even in power options currently unavailable.

This issue likely occurs if there are some settings on your computer that are affecting the power usage. We'd like to know if you've made any changes prior to the issue. In the meantime, to troubleshoot your issue, we suggest performing these steps:

    • Run the power troubleshooter. This will automatically detect the system settings that are affecting the power usage and resolve power and startup issues.
    • Reset and restore all default power plans to its default settings. Here's how:

      A. Open Command Prompt as an administrator.

      B. Type powercfg –restoredefaultschemes and press Enter.

      C. Restart your device to apply the changes.

Get back to us with the result.
