  1. New i9 System Random Blue Screening

I just put together the system below and almost immediately began experiencing intermittent BSOD in Windows 10.

    Intel i9-10940x
    Corsair H115i Liquid Cooler
ASUS ROG Extreme VI Encore Motherboard
    G.Skill 64GB TridentZ 3600MHz RAM 4x16
    EVGA GeForce RTX2070 Super
    Samsung 1TB Evo M.2 SSD
    Thermaltake ToughPower Grande 850W
    Windows 10 Pro

Before I just reloaded from scratch, the blue screens happened when watching videos online, playing games, firefox tabs randomly crashed, etc. In order to narrow the problem down, I just wiped and reloaded the system, only installing Windows 10 Pro, Corsair iCue and used Asus Armoury Crate to update all of the system drivers. It still blue screened while watching a video in Firefox.

When I analyze the mini dump and crash dump files, I get the following.

    DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: WIN8_DRIVER_FAULT
    FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: IP_MISALIGNED
    BUCKET_ID: IP_MISALIGNED
    PRIMARY_PROBLEM_CLASS: IP_MISALIGNED

Here is the mini dump file.

I've tried reloading the system with minimal software, checking event logs, analyzing the crash dump files as well as updating drivers and BIOS to the latest.

I could really use some help.

    :)

  2. Random Blue Screen Errors

On my Lenovo-All in One, I get random blue screen errors when the computer sits idle for a couple hours.

STOPCODE: SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED nvlddmkm.sys

I need to power off the computer, but each time it successfully reboots, fortunately.

    Any suggestions?

  3. Trying to diagnose random blue screens

This is a Windows 10 Professional desktop, built seven years ago. It is starting to fail, with almost daily blue screens, and I'm trying to guess what part is failing. The candiates are naturally the motherboard, a RAM stick, or a video card.

The errors are almost always different, and there is almost never a culprit announced. Here are some examples:

    • MEMORY_MMANAGEMENT
    • IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    • SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
    • KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (mcdbus.sys)
    • SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Eventually I will have to start removing all parts one by one, but I was wondering if these errors might suggest which part to check first.
