  1. System fonts has changed to an unreadable format randomly. How to reset to default?

I logged onto my PC this morning and all my fonts have changed on the desktop, partially to the marlett font and cortana and notepad to the weird shapes forma and no font settings. Now Microsoft help says windows 10 cannot change fonts but clearly it did. I cannot find any suitable solutions. Anyone have any suggestions that will work?

    :)

    • Did you delete any fonts from the system?
    • Which Windows 10 build are you using?
    • When you say ''Tried the one in the font menu but it didn't work!
‘’did you tried the option Restore default fonts settings? If not you can try the below steps.
Let’s try to restore the default fonts settings and check if this helps.

    • Type fonts on the Windows search bar and select
      Fonts.

    • Click on Font settings on the left pane and click on
      Restore default fonts settings.

    • Click on OK.

  3. Changing default font

It seems the default font on this WIndows is Arial and it's really ugly, especially when reading an entire page in Chrome or in any other browser. Tried to change the font in all browsers- no result. It can change only the size- Arial still there. It bugs me that it's everywhere, even in games. This compact font in games is really annoying and made me quite after playing a few minutes. I have no problems with overlapping or unreadable font problems I've read on this forum. Suggestions? *Sad

    Note: I upgraded to win10 and didn't do a fresh/clean install.

  4. System fonts has changed to an unreadable format randomly. How to reset to default?

Change email app to default to unread view

Every time I open the email app it defaults to the "all" view. I cannot find any settings to change this, but it would be better if it defaulted to the "unread" list instead. Is there any way to change this?

Also if I open an email from the unread list then return to the unread list, it would be nice if the list got updated to remove the item I have just read. Currently it doesn't refresh the list.
