Windows 10: PC wakes up after hybernating, but not saving apps and work

Hello,

I run Windows 10 Pro, up-to-date. PC shuts down after selecting Hybernate. However, after starting the PC, all my apps and work are lost. This was not the case a few days ago. I have deactivated and re-activated the hybernate function, restarted the PC, but nothing works.

Any ideas how to fix the issue?

wake from sleep issue in windows 10

Thank you for posting your reply. Apologize for the delay in response.

I suggest you to check which devices are configured to wake up the computer from sleep by following the steps below:

• Right click on Start icon and select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type the command line below:

Powercfg /devicequery wake_armed

3. Check if the devices (Keyboard, Mouse, Ethernet cable) are listed.

If the system is not going to sleep and going to Hybernate, the only option to wake up is to press the Power button.

Hybernation mode

My Dell 23.8 all-in-one pc is in hybernation mode. Black screen only, no key board wakes or mouse.

I changes batteries for both. Still not waking up at a loss?

 

Laptop shuts down upon waking up from hybernation

Hello,

I am using DELL Inspiron 7347 (13 inch) and have recently installed MS Project 2016. Since the installation my laptop does not wake up from hybernation and rather goes to shut-down everytime I wake it up from hybernation.
