Windows 10: Lost Desktop Wallpaper, along with right click ability on desktop - Windows 10

Hi All Windows 10 Gurus, can anyone please help me?

I had Windows 10 running on my Lenovo Mix 510 Tablet for a couple of years - working fine.

This week though I have lost my Desktop Slide Show AND the ability to right click on the Desktop screen.

I should say that I do notice the Wallpaper for about a second while the Desktop screen loads, then I have my desktop Apps with a blank background!

Desktop wallpaper for new users

Hi Alaa,

Setting default users lets you specify the wallpaper on user's desktops and prevents other users from changing the image or its presentation. You can check these steps on how to set wallpapers from all users:

• Type run on the search bar and press Enter.
• On the window, type gpedit.msc and click OK.
• Locate and click Administrative Templates.
• Select Desktop > Desktop > Desktop Wallpaper.
• Tick Enabled, and name your wallpaper.
• Select Apply and click OK.

After performing the steps above, you may restart your PC.

Lost ability to set different Desktop background on each screen after Windows update

• What is the make and model of the computer?
• How the extended display is connected to the system?
• Do you get the option to select wallpaper for particular desktop screen?

Let's try simple steps and check if this helps. follow the below steps.

• Press Windows key + R, type control /name Microsoft.Personalization /page pageWallpaper
  and press Enter.
• Now right click on the picture and try setting up the Wallpaper for particular desktop background.
