  1. Reinstalling FSX-AEP on a clean Windows 10 Install on original Dell Laptop but with new SSD...

I keep getting an activation error on starting up Flight Simulator X FSX after trying to reinstall FSX and the Acceleration Expansion Pack AEP on a clean Windows 10 Install on an original Dell Laptop but with two new SSD drives in a RAID 0 configuration.

I had installed FSX as "run as administrator" and entered the original Product Key code in the disk box set and it seemed to accept it.

But when I installed the AEP disk, it did not ask for any Product Key at the end of installation and now I am getting this activation error...

Can you please advise what to do to correct the situation...

    Thanks

    Wally

  3. Clean install of XP on Dell laptop?

My friend has an inspiron laptop from dell. He got it with Vista preinstalled on it, but wants to switch back to XP. He got an XP Pro CD, but when he inserted it, the "Install XP Now" option was greyed out. I thought it might be dell trying to make life difficult when reinstalling windows. *Confused Reinstalling FSX-AEP on a clean Windows 10 Install on original Dell Laptop but with new SSD... Any advice??

If I formatted the hard drive for him, NTFS, would I be able to clean install XP or would the prob still be there?

    Thanks in advance
