Windows 10: Windows can't be installed on this drive

Discus and support Windows can't be installed on this drive in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; So i just got a new HDD and when i tried to install Windows 10 ffom my USB i get The following error:"Windows canot be installed to this disk.     Windows can't be installed on this drive


    So i just got a new HDD and when i tried to install Windows 10 ffom my USB i get The following error:"Windows canot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may nor suport booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled în The computer BIOS menu". From what i understand this could be because The hard disk may be write protected,but i am not sure. Also i tried running chkdsk in cmd but IT says the volume is write protected. Also, i tried with diskpart and it says there is an I/O error.

    Any help on this would be much appreciated.Thank you!

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    cant install windows 8 on my cruciall ssd drive

    Yeah, that was going to be my next suggestion. You can actually access the command prompt from inside the Windows installer, then run DiskPart and do a Clean command on the drive.
