Windows 10: Failed to install HAXM on Surface Book 1 i7 while installing Android SDK Studio: Easy way...

Hello there!


While installing Android Studio, the HAXM installation failed. It suggested to install this but I found it rather complicated here:

Is there an easier way to allow HAXM to be installed?


I found this guide but the pictures don't load, so I can't really follow it well:

Any help would be appreciated as I want/need to run Android AVM emulators here.

I suggest you to follow the below mentioned steps to install and run Android Studio as an administrator.

1. Download the Android Studio from the recommended website.
   
2. Once the download is completed locate the downloaded file.
   
3. Right click on executable file (.exe) and Run as administrator to complete the installation.
   

If you have any difficulty in install/run the Android Studio I suggest you to get in touch with the Android Studio support.

How can I run Android Studio as an Administrator for all Downloads?

This seems to be Microsoft Development only..... for the MSDN forums.

I can't call or find Android Studio support anywhere.

 

Intel x86 Emulator Accelerator HAXM installer - not compatible with Windows

After installing Windows 10, I ran into a problem with SDK Manager.
After downloading Android Studio, I started building and running my applications, and I realized my emulator is very slow.

When I open the Android SDK manager I see this:





I spent two hours searching Google for a solution, but with no luck. VT-x is enabled in my BIOS, and fully working:



I downloaded the installer from Intel's website, and nothing has changed after installing HAXM from there. Any suggestions?
