Windows 10 logon very slow PC

    Hello,

since March 13th the Windows logon takes very long between 15 and 40 seconds Before that the logon always took about 5 seconds. I take these values from the event viewer, here are some excerpts from the last days:

    <Data Name="MainPathBootTime">20443</Data>
    <Data Name="MainPathBootTime">32307</Data>
    <Data Name="MainPathBootTime">36160</Data>

And this is what it looked like before March 13th:

    <Data Name="MainPathBootTime">5957</Data>
    <Data Name="MainPathBootTime">5975</Data>
    <Data Name="MainPathBootTime">5968</Data>

I have no special software installed. When exactly updates were installed, I can't say, because they are automated. I only know that it is a relatively fresh Windows 10 installation about 2-3 months old. Since the day of the Windows installation I use version 1909.

I don't go to any dubious websites, I don't have any dubious software installed and I have already scanned the system with Defender. I have also read other similar questions on this platform here and followed the following steps:

    1. sfc /scannow executed as admin. Everything is okay.
    2. Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth executed, also everything okay.

    3. I checked the autostart programs. Includes only the following applications/services: Google Drive, Equalizer APO, Windows Security Notification Icon

    4. Checked and installed latest Windows updates manually I am up to date

    5. Removed all connected devices except keyboard to test if this is the problem. Only with the keyboard connected the problem is still there

What I find interesting: I also created a second local User account on Windows and booted it up. It takes about 0.5 seconds to boot it up. So I think my main profile is corrupt or something?

What else could be considered? The hardware has not changed. These are my specs:

    - Intel Core i7 7700K
    - GTX 1080
    - PRIME Z270-A
    - 16 GB DDR4
    - Samsung 970 Pro 1 TB

    Thanks in advance.

    Many greetings

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Window 10 Auto-Logon (Hotmail/MS Account)

    Hello everyone!

So, i've updated my PC to Windows 10 and i have a little problem.

Anyone knows how to auto-logon without asking for password using Hotmail/MS Account? I i've already tried the trick using "netplwiz" from Windows 8 wich always worked totally, and in Win10 it just does not work, it keeps asking me for password...

Anyone knows how to bypass this without having to create a local account?

    Cheers.
