Updated Windows 10 Does Not Recognize Sony Walkman Model: NWZ-E344 anymore.


I have unplugged all USB plugs from computer.

I have tried 3 different USB Cables

I have plugged and unplugged the 3 cables into 2 different USB ports

I have restarted my computer several times

I have restarted my Walkman several times

I have left the Walkman plugged into the USB for over 10 minutes nothing is recognized.

Under Universal Serial Bus Controllers Then USB Root Hub Properties Power Management I unchecked "Allow computer to turn off device to save power."

I have reset my settings with my Walkman

I have even formatted my Sony Walkman at the last step and have

turned off the computer and back on the computer. Unplugged and plugged still nothing is shown

even after restarting the computer.


I have had what looks like a major update this last week. Since the update, the computer doesn't recognize the Sony Walkman.

Win 10 updates and Sony Walkman NWZ-WS613 USB connection problem

After recent Win 10 updates my Sony Walkman NWZ-WS613 devise stopped being recognized by system as USB disc drive. After connecting Walkman to any USB port sound of "USB recognition" may be heard but then after about a second it starts again and again
and becomes "endless-never-ending-cycling-recognition". Devise is not appeared in device manager but can be recognized as USD disc drive properly on other PCs (running Win Vista and Win 8.1). There are no device issues (yellow 'i') in device manager. Other
USB devices work properly. I believe this problem is somehow connected to recent Win 10 update. Any suggestions on how to solve it?

 

system no longer recognizes Sony MP3 player, code 19 error

My Sony Walkman is NWZ-E344, I have a Common Setting file but no USB Connection option. This unit automatically connects via USB. My HP laptop recognizes and connects automatically so it is not an MP3 player problem. The Screen on the Walkman indicates a USB connection when connected to either computer.
Thanks for the idea though, every lead brings me closer to a solution.

• It worked before the updates that arrived at the computer lately : Feature update to Windows 10, version 1703
• the model is a SONY NWZ-W274S
• actually none - i have no idea what to try.
