open app window in current window where I clicked

    Hi,

I have multiple monitors on Windows 10. I want to see the app window show up in the monitor where I clicked the app shortcut. For example, I click Start button on 2nd monitor and then click Mail app, I want the Mail window open on the same monitor i.e. 2nd monitor. However, it does not work on this way.

Is there any registry hack or other method to achieve this?

    Thanks

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Single-click or double-click?

As the title says, do you single-click or double-click on your shortcuts to open your apps?

I'm a fan of single-click, the only downside is that often when I click on a message in de list of my mails in Outlook it can open the mail in a window...
Not always but besides that, single-click works best for me.
