Windows 10: windows 10, server 2012 RDP internal error has occurred

Hi all,


having issue with windows 10 remote access to server 2012 RDP, firewall ports sllowed, tried turned off firewall, tried different RDP port, each time trying to RDP to this server, will be getting " internal error has occurred" . did check on the server services, realised each time RDP in, " remote desktop services" will stop running.


windows is updated and not sure if there is any hotfix for this issue?

Hello,

I am IT administrator of small company and encountered a problem.

One user can't connect to remote server. Gets error "an internal error occurred". This error recurs only from one computer, for others users everything is working (although some use the same OS image). Remote server is not me organization and I can‘t influence
his configuration.

Connect to remote server using VPN (OpenVPN). Logged in to vnp pings to remote server good.

User PC:

• HP EliteDesk 800 G3
  
• Windows 10 Pro. Version 10.0.14393 Build 14393
  
• Remote Desktop Protocol 10.2 supported

What I tried to do:

• Run sfc /scannow – no problem found.
  
• Remove the PC from the domain and re-joined.
  
• Chenge physical network adapter (Changed the ip and mac addresses).
  
• Unchecking the "Reconnect if connection dropped" in RDP.
  
• Change connection speed.
  
• Dropped MTU from 1500 to 1458.
  
• RUN „netsh winsock reset all.
  
• Remove all server ip adress values in regedit.
  
• Reinstall VPN client.

Maybe you have some ideas?

After upgrade windows (on clone computer) to version 1709 (Fall Creators Update), connect to rdp works fine!!!

But that did not solve my problem, because we're not using this update for now (company's internal policies). But found out that the problem is in windows.

+- 20pc in company (All pc HP EliteDesk 800 G3 ). Problem with one pc... User cannot have local administrator right in computer. I have no idea how windows crash.

RDP - An Internal Error has Occured

Hello,

I have a Server running Windows Server 2003 and I just completed many Windows Security updates, about 130 in total and unfortunately I didn't document which ones.

After the install I rebooted the servers and not when I attempt to RDP into them I get the message "An Internal Error has Occurred"

Could there have been a security update that is preventing me from using RDP now?

I saw in a previews thread that unchecking the "Reconnect if the Connection is dropped" option under the Experience tab might work but it did not.

Please help if possible.
