Windows 10: I've lost two shortcuts on my Favourites bar top, landscape, above Mail in-box Windows 10

The two shortcuts are to Bing probably used at least ten time a day - and shows my points reward and to Facebook used a couple of times a day.


How do I get them back please?

Two steps to get to Google search bar with favourites, rather than one

Running Windows 10.
Not familiar with terminology but since having a bug cleared from computer, now when I click the Google Chrome icon on bottom task bar it takes me to google.com.au Then I have to click the + icon at the top to take me to New Tab with blank google search bar at top and the middle with my favourites listed across the top and in the middle.
In other words two steps instead of one.

I can't figure out how to get to what I had originally with all my favourites listed at first click.

Can someone help me please.

Not so easy...

Did the Win + R and the dot etc I searched and found the Favourites folder and the Favourites Bar folder and both already contain all my shortcuts. The Favourites Bar folder is inside the Favourites Folder and all the shortcuts are also listed individually
in the Favourites folder.

I tried the Hub but it does not show Favourites, so I hope by Hub you meant the three dots .

I go to the three dots at the top of Edge and then settings. Then Favourites. Both the switches are on.

I see at the bottom the Internet Explorer box is ticked and I press Import. It goes through the motions and says complete.

But still there are no favourites displayed in the Bar...The bar only shows a star at the left hand end but no shortcuts.

Maybe I must just try to recover from an earlier system image?
