Windows 10: Unicode Shortcut not producing correct Glyph

I want to be able to type Egyptian Hieroglyphics using Unicode, and while the short cuts produce characters, the ones that show up seem completely unrelated to the ones I intended to type.

For Example, if I wanted to type the "sitting man" hieroglyphic, I would have to go tothis Wikipedia page, copy the desired character , and paste it into whatever text document I was using. On the Wikipedia page, it claims that this character has a Unicode value of U+13000, which I would assume on windows translates to the shortcut ALT + NUMPAD + + 13000. However, when I execute this sequence, I instead receive this glyph, which is evidentially the wrong one. I initially thought that this might be because I didn't have Segoe UI Historic installed, but I did, and the problem persisted even after "show"ing it in control panel and restarting my computer. My only other thought is that there might be some other font that's gaining more priority, and so when I go to type this particular Unicode character, it defaults to the wrong font. Other than that I have no speculations. Has anyone experienced and/or solved this problem before?

Nokia N8 - Unicode support

Nokia supports Unicode. However, the Nokia font installed in the device contains glyphs for 5 languages only. Good luck with Tamil on your device!

 

Unicode Support in Regional Languages (Hindi)

On my HTC Touch, WM6.1, I have tried to use Hindi Devnagri script many a times but the browser doesn't render Hindi based sites though the phone seems to Support Unicode. There was a suggestion on a website some months ago to copy mangal (or any
other unicode font) to fonts folder on mobile.. I did that but then the phone considers that font as some System font and changes a lot many interfaces (menu/programs) to gibberish without displaying correction.

Can you help me with how can I see unicode websites on my phone ?
