Windows 10: "Control Panel in alphabetic order" from 2016

So it's been 4 years since this subject came up about alphabetizing Windows 10 settings and the settings still are not alphabetized. Instead of adding all the bells and whistles you can possibly think of, how about not cutting corners on main stream, heavily used items like this one simple task? Or add a filter/sort option? Can you still do that for us?

Control Panel List

Why doesn't control panel display the long list of items alphabetically? Its tiresome always searching thru it to find an item.

Did I not see somewhere a picture showing it in alphabetical order, and if so, how do you do it?

 

Control Panel in alphabetic order

Firstly, the more I work with Windows 10 the more disappointed I become, as all these "little"

issues you refer to add up after awhile as I don't think most of us have a lot of time to search

through forums trying to find our specific problem, esp. when there was absolutely no reason

for changing the way it had been being done for years. Everyone wants their lists in alphabetical

order as again, common sense will tell you it's much easier to find something and it's more

productive for those of us that are working and need to save all the time we can in a day.

Windows 10 didn't alphabetize their Favorites either, and I've resorted to keeping all of mine in

Internet Explorer as for some reason, the two lists don't sync either. I just don't understand these

little changes that served no useful purpose so I'm ending back up in Internet Explorer more and

more as for all the nice things Windows 10 added, the glow is wearing off when I now have to

spend more time trying to figure out why something so common place was changed for no good

reason.
