Windows 10: Can show hidden files but not empty drives?

Hello, first sorry im not speak english.



Is possible show hidden folder and files but hide empty drives?

I need if is possible, view folders, and files hidden. But i have a card reader and in the explorar show all units even empty units. It's quite annoying.

I have windows 10 pro original & activated



I try search options in folders config and the registry, but only can show all or hide all.

We suggest that you check if the folder is hidden by following these steps:

• In the search box on the taskbar, type folder, and then select
  Show hidden files and folders from the search results.
• Under Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives, and then select
  OK.

How to show hidden/hide folders/files for only "one specific drive"?

First way

Step 1: Open This PC.
Double-click This PC on the desktop to open it.
You can also open another folder such as Network, File Explorer, Recycle Bin, etc.

Step 2: Show the hidden files and folders in the View menu.
Click View, tap Show/hide in the menu, and check the small box before Hidden items in the sub-list.

Second Way :Show hidden files and folders in the Folder Options.

Step 1: Open Folder Options.
Open This PC, click View and select Options.

Step 2: Show the hidden files and folders in the View settings.
In the Folder Options window, choose View, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives, and then click OK.

Hey Orko! My first suggestion would be a restart. This may fix the issue.

If it doesn't then try this:

Click on the Windows icon in the lower left corner and type folder.

• Select Show hidden files and folders from the search results.

• In the Advanced settings column, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives, then click Apply.

You might also want to go into the options where hidden files option is located and turn off "hide protected system files" as this might be ticked and not letting you see some options.

I also suggest running a malwarebytes and windows defender scan on your PC.
