Windows 10: Cannot buy $9.99 worth of Minecoins after putting $10 in my child's account.

Trying to buy $9.99 worth of Minecoins after putting $10 in my childs account. When I try to approve the purchase, it says: "For this item, you’ll need to add money to your child’s Microsoft account so they can buy it in the game. We’re working on a way to make this a seamless experience in the future" The only button available is "Add Money"


I do not want to add more money, I have added more than I need.

Why does this not work?


And how does the store not have a catagory??

Child Account Get Greyed Out

Thanks for the suggestion, but I did the following instead.

I have another laptop, 2 weeks old, with Windows 10 Home on it.

On that one, I tried the same steps with the child account, and got the exact same results.

 

Child account

I did set up a Child account, I did fallow all the steps window ask, the account say that the child is in the family, when I tried to log, give me the message "The Profile Service service Failed The Sign-in. User Profile cannot be loaded".

Answering your questions:

• Did you make any changes to the child account prior to the issue? No, I did not make any changes.
• Since when you are facing this issue? Right from the start. I never got to login.
• Are you able to login with other child accounts on the computer? No

I suggest you to restart the computer once and check if you are able to login to the computer. I did, the same problem, I do not have any problem with my account or my wife.

Child accounts


It seemed to improve for a short while but yesterday and this morning it's now back to being really slow. Everytime edge is opened on the child account this happens. It's worth noting there is no such issue using Mozilla on the child acc. Also worth noting there is no issue with edge on the all the adult accounts
