Windows 10: Am I buying a third version of Minecraft at this point?

To say I am a little disappointed in Microsoft and Mojang right now is a an understatement. I have java edition Minecraft and all three editions of Xbox Minecraft 360, one and the final updated version. They have all been purchased legitimately. Now is there anyway to get the bedrock edition on my computer without having to yet again by the game? I see rumor that if I had java edition I missed my chance to get the bedrock edition for free by one day I didn't know it was thing because I received no email alerts about it.

I have been trying to research for hours if I can get it on my pc. Between the Microsoft Store saying "this product should work on this device" then spending another hour trying to reboot all my apps and my computer because it wont actually let me download/install it to anything but my Xbox I'm quite frustrated to say the least.

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

If you are trying to buy the game using Windows store, try the below steps and check if this helps.

Step 1.

I would recommend you to run app troubleshooter and check if it helps. Follow the below link to run app troubleshooter.

If the issue still persist try below steps.

Step 2.

I would suggest you reset the Windows app store and check if it helps.

  Type "Run" on the search bar and hit enter.

  Now type: "WSReset.exe" and hit enter to reset the Windows apps store.
