Windows 10: Cannot sign into apps due to blank screen on sign in

Every once in a while, my OS keeps on losing synch with the password for Outlook and I have no idea why. It goes away and the issue is solved, but now there is a new problem. I cannot sign into my Outlook or my Xbox Game Pass because the account sign in is coming blank. I already signed out of the computer and back and it just gives a blank screen with no chance to sign in.





When I also try to sign in to Accounts it gives me the same problem.

There's a possibility that you are currently signed in on your computer using your local account. For us to sort this out, we suggest that you sign in with your Microsoft account instead. Follow these steps:

• Open Settings > Accounts > Your email and accounts.
• Select Sign in with a Microsoft account instead.
• Follow the on-screen instructions.

Once signed in with your Microsoft account on your computer, try signing into the Windows Store app.

Sign-in Screen Disappears

It is possible that the sign in screen disappears due to corrupted system files. To assist you better, we'd like to gather more information:

• Have you made any recent changes prior to this issue?
• Are you able to see the password box?
• Could you provide us a screenshot of the sign in screen on your end?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Step 2b is labeled as Change the Login Screen Image, but the steps show you how to change the Lock Screen image. Step 2a is irrelevant. It only tells you how to change the desktop background.

What I want to do:
Set Spotlight as the LOCK Screen Image(s) - Done
Set the Win 10 Hero Image as the SIGN IN Screen Image - This is the one that shows after you click on the lock screen and you are able to type your password. If I uncheck "Show Lock Screen Image on Sign In Screen", it shows a solid blue background behind my Password box and user image. This is what I want to change to the Hero Image....
