Windows 10: Very Slow Boot up Time (almost 3 minutes) Lenovo Desktop A340

Hello

I just bought a Lenovo A340 desktop computer yesterday and I have updated everything.

Every time i had to reset the computer , the boot up time is ridiculous ( it takes about 3 minutes or so )

Could someone be kind enough to guide me how to speed it up?

I am running a windows version 10 Home (1909)

CPU is 3.10GHz

Slow boot time only for administrator account

About a month ago, I bought my lenovo laptop with i7-10710U&512G SSD. Recently I notice my boot time is really slow for my only administrator account(about 1-1.5min). I try to turn on my computer in clean boot or safe mode, it's a bit faster at about 1 minute(still
slow). I have tried many method as followings to change the situation, but none of them help. However, after creating a new account, it only takes 20s(reasonable) to boot into the new account.

What I have done:

1. perform clean boot or boot in safe mode

2. scan for virus and scan my SSD

3. check event log(from my unprofessional perspective nothing unusual)

4. do a system restore to 31st March

Strangely, my slow administrator account boot time can also be divided into two types:

1. usual boot: lenovo logo(5s)-black screen(1 min)-login-desktop

2. some situation(change boot mode in msconfig and then restart): lenovo logo(5s)-login-welcome(1min)-desktop

Also, when I firstly boot in the other account and then login into my adminstrator account, it takes 0.5-1min on welcome srceen

Very slow boot-up time (over three minutes)

There was many events that was dropped during the boot trace, but there is enough data to undertake a troubleshooting.





First, the majority of the delay happens in the Session init phase. in this phase the OS primarily load and initialize drivers.

I have identified two suspect drivers:

• NoMachine Hub that causes a boot delay of 12s. Windows try to reload the catalog to check the code integrity for this driver because it's a non-embedded-signed driver. So try to upgrad to the latest version of NoMachine application.

• But the biggest delay is caused by Intel Management Engine driver ( 90 s)

you have the version 11.7.0.1057. There is a newer version available on the Intel website Download Intel® Management Engine Consumer Driver for Intel® NUC Kit NUC7i3DN

Update this driver and see if that help.

Finally take another boot trace.
