Windows 10: Windows 10 game bar shows GPU usage at 0% all the time

hello, so i recently got a new PC (about three months ago) i have since been using just the steam built in FPS counter which works fine. But i wanted more stats when paying games on my system.

I googled and discovered the windows 10 game bar performance monitor and thought i'd give it a go. It reads the CPU performance fine and shows it on the graph as it should, along with RAM usage. But it fails to show FPS and GPU usage.

The FPS counter isn't a big deal to me because i have the steam one and the games i'm playing on my system constantly run at 60FPS or more so it's not an issue.

I did think that it could possibly be an incompatibility issue, i am running a new 10th gen chip in my laptop. Though the task manager shows both GPU and CPU usage fine so i don't see why it would be an issue.

I have the integrated Intel UHD Graphics BTW

GPU usage drops randomly to 0% when gaming

My GPU usage drops randomly from 70-100% to 0-10% when im gaming. especially when playing FH4, creates severe lag spikes. Its really annoying. Anyone can help me?

 

Game bar not registering GPU (Laptop)

Hello everyone,

So I was playing some games on my Laptop, and when I opened the game bar it showed the CPU and RAM usage perfectly fine, only the GPU usage was not displayed. When I used the Msi Afterburner overlay the GPU was displayed, so the problem has to be with the
gamebar itself and not the graphics card. Does anyone have the same issue? How can I solve the problem? Thanks in advance

P.S.: I'm using the AMD Radeon HD 6650m

why does the windows game bar gpu monitor show vram usage, which for the most part stays the same in game instead of actual gpu usage which fluctuates and is mutch more useful information, as most games you already know how much vram is being used because
you set it.
