Windows 10: Aspire Switch 10V SW5-014 Missing Network Adaptor

Hello,

I have an Aspire SW5-014 which I have just performed a partition format and USB reinstall of Win10 ver 1909 18363.592. Using the tool to create installation media USB flash drive to install Windows 10 on a different PC to perform a clean installation https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10. Previously Windows was fine but I couldn't update because of size issues 30GB hard drive and there was a lot of corrupt files meaning I had issues reinstalling apps.

Windows is installed and bootin up. During the Windows setup it found the Sim card driver and gave the connection. But this is the only Network Adaptor showing. I have tried restarting, installing Acer drivers, resetting Network connections, etc. but I have no Network Adaptor or Wifi connections.

I have tried at least twice to install the Wireless LAN as below but it fails as 'error 'Update.cpp 1203' has occurred ..'

Any advice?

Wi-Fi not working on Acer Aspire Switch 10 SW5-012

Hello,

I'm having problems trying to fix an issue with my Acer Aspire Switch 10 SW5-012 network adapter on Windows 10. It's a Broadcom 802.11abgn SDIO Wireless SDIO Adapter. My Wi-Fi icon says "no networks available" and my Bluetooth stopped working completely
as well. On the device manager page, Broadcom Serial Bus Driver over UART Bus Enumerator displays an exclamation mark. (Device cannot start - Code 10).

What I have already tried:

1) Tried a bunch of different Wi-Fi routers and access points;

2) Attempted to restore + reset the system to factory settings;

3) Deleted adapters + tried different Broadcom and Intel drivers;

4) Command Prompt Commands;

5) Reinstalled ‘clean’ Windows 8.1 / Windows 10;

6) Tried different BIOS versions

… but the problem still persist.

Now my configuration is BIOS 1.20, Windows 10, Broadcom 5.93.102.19, Broadcom Serial Bus Driver over UART Bus Enumerator 12.0.1.722.

Is this a hardware or software issue? Any suggestions?
