Windows 10: Stuck in bios after resetting my hard drive.

Hello, I got my computer locked by Bit Locker, so I reseted my C drive, but when I turn on computer (Surface Pro 6) it opens in bios, and i’m not sure what to do, i’ve tried opening my computer in all modes, and it just runs in bios. Can you guys please help me, I have no way of getting windows on another usb as my pc broke. Any help is appreciated.

Could you describe how you tried to 'reset' it? Was there a restore point in use?

Being stuck in the Bios is never a good thing. Make sure your hard drive is working properly and your HD is set to 1st in the boot list.

 

hard drive/bios password reset

My friend put a password in the bios for the hard drive and for the "admin" in the bios. its a dell latitude e5500. i tried pulling the battery and cmos battery out to reset but that didn't help. any ideas?

 

Help with external hard drive

I would suggest you to plug in hard drive then check in disk management you can see the drive or not.

Follow the steps to check Drive in Disk Management.

  Go to the Control Panel then click on the
  Administrative Tools. .
  
• 
  Under the Administrative Tool Click on Computer Management.
  
• 
  Click on Disk Management and check the External Hard Drive.
  

Also check in BIOS whether External Hard Drive is listed or not.

For help with the BIOS settings, refer to the computer manual or contact the manufacturer.

If it doesn’t work then, I would suggest you to update BIOS for updating BIOS contact Lenovo Support.
